Benefits to you
This course will give you a working knowledge of first aid so that you will feel much more confident when dealing with emergency situations. On successful completion you will receive a certificate, a comprehensive Emergency First Aid manual and relevant information.
Please note: delegates need to have the aptitude to absorb new skills and the ability to cope with the physically demanding emergency procedures of placing casualties in the recovery position and performing C.P.R. This course will be assessed by a short multiple-choice paper and practical observation.
If you have any physical issues, either temporary or permanent, that may interfere with your ability to undertake the C.P.R. and assessment, please advise us and your trainer of these so that adaptations can be made. Examples of things the trainer would need to know: asthma, arthritis, heart problems, recent operations, pregnancy, injuries or recent illnesses that may be still be contagious.
