By the end of the course you will have understood the importance of making an annual or six monthly agenda plan, practiced setting an agenda that is logical, practical and designed to achieve decisions and actions, understood the chair’s preparation for a meeting and the importance of creating the right environment. You will also have learnt good chairing skills including methods of dealing with difficult people, developed methods for stimulating creative and effective discussions and utilising the skills of the participants involved in the meeting.

Training room is on ground floor. An accessibility lift is in place to bypass the very small number of steps. Ramp outside as well.
If you are late for the course and it is clear that the course has already started, press the CSVU button on the intercom and a staff member will come downstairs and take you to the room where the course is running.
