EFAW training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. It is aimed at both employees and volunteers.

- HSE regulations and responsibilities of being a first-aider
- Further first aid treatments relevant to the participants’ work environment

Please note the first-aider needs to have the aptitude to absorb new skills and the ability to cope with the physically demanding emergency procedures of placing casualties in the recovery position and performing C.P.R. This course will be assessed by a short multiple-choice paper, verbal questioning and ongoing practical skills assessment throughout the day.
This course is accredited by QNUK and successful delegates will receive the QNUK Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
