This 2-hour course is designed for people who manage others and wish to develop their leadership skills to improve performance and manage workloads. The workshop introduces the importance of leaders being able to exert influence beyond their direct reports, of winning hearts and minds, of building relationships, of persuading rather than ordering. It covers the meaning of ‘impact and influence’, the situations when leaders need to use influence, our own ‘influencing style’, and top tips for using influence effectively. Participants will also have the opportunity to action plan to develop their own influencing skills.
