A lack of evidence of outcomes is a significant reason for failure when it comes to applications to grant-making bodies. This course is for anybody who makes applications to grant-making trusts and needs to strengthen their case for support by providing strong evidence of outcomes and impact.
- Unravelling the terminology
- Outcomes-based planning
- What do we count / measure and what does it tell us?
- Hard and soft outcomes
- The concept of ‘distance travelled’
- Introduction to soft outcome measurement tools
Benefits to you
Applying the learning from the course will enable delegates to identify and measure outputs, outcomes and impact more effectively and identify and use outcome measurement tools appropriate to their own area of work. This will strengthen their case for support by demonstrating the effectiveness of their interventions / projects thus improving the quality of funding applications and raising more money from grant-making bodies!
Delegates will be encouraged to bring their own laptops / tablets to explore the soft outcome measurement tools for themselves.
